Foxy the Pirate Fox

Poppycock, I happen to hold the world record for world's fastest fox and world's fastest pirate!

- Foxy to Bendy in the Squid Game short.


Foxy the Pirate Fox is the main protagonist of The Foxy Song series and one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Circus Baby) in Fazbear & Friends. He is a red fox who acts as the pirate of the club. He also is the main protagonist of almost all F&F shorts that involve him interacting with other non-FNAF characters

Appearance[]

In the Foxy Song, he appears to be normal Minecraft skin of Foxy with a few alterations such as the head. His endoskeletons almost look like they're for shoes.

In Fazbear & Friends, he looks more like his in-game counterpart. The only exceptions that his eyebrows are black instead of dark red, and he has less tears through his body. In addition, his hand isn't stripped down to the endoskeleton.

Personality[]

Foxy can sometimes be considered a old curmudgeon who always gets angry easily, he seems to have the voice of a pirate but robotic, he’s also has less sense of humor like when Freddy put a Bonnie shirt on him in the sponsor ad before finishing a episode, he is also shown to be very cruel to other animatronics, despite this, he has a good heart deep down inside, helping others when they need him.

Story[]

Foxy started out as a member of the Fazbear gang and a major character in the shorts, he would first lose his hook but later find it at the hands of Bonnie, then get sick with Chica's disease and then meet Circus Baby and become the friend of her.

In "Freddy is Hurt!?" Foxy would remind Freddy that this is an animated series and he takes the bump off his head and heals it, however Freddy asks what foxy said about this being "an animated series" and all of the animatronics would slowly look at the camera.

In "Bonnie is Missing!" Foxy notices a trace of tomato sauce and searches for it with Freddy and Chica everywhere in the pizzeria (and outside the pizzeria) until they finally find him hiding in the oven eating pizza.

In "Foxy and Chica BODY SWAP!?" Foxy and Chica are repairing the pipes in the kitchen, when suddenly they fall into a puddle of water where their body and voice change completely, scared they run to tell Freddy all at once what happened, but they soon discover that Bonnie is inside of his body to the horror of them both.

In "Tiny Chica Dies!" Foxy sees tiny Chica thinking she was an action figure and crushes her with his hook and soon leaves but not before thinking that Chica hopefully doesn't care that he crushed her action figure by accident.

In "Golden Freddy Goes to Prison!" Foxy finds a chest with gold coins and announces that they are now rich and that they can buy what they want, he buys a ship and dresses in gold, however one day, Audrey catches them inside the room and tells them that they have spent millions with counterfeit coins, and in the end he is arrested along with his friends for his crimes.

In "Purple Guy Kills Golden Freddy!" Foxy accidentally opens the door for Purple Guy and closes it in shock telling them that he is back but now as good peerson, when Purple Guy gives Foxy a cookie, he bites into it but realizes they were raisins and not chocolate chips, but Purple Guy was already gone.

In "Alex and Steve vs. FNaF!" he was cleaning the tables when a portal appears and scares him, Steve and Alex go in search of the overworld and launch an eye of Ender that reaches Foxy and raises it to the sky while he yells angrily that he will cut their mouths with his hook, but when Ender's eye falls, he also falls and dies leaving only his remains.

In "Bendy vs. FNaF!" Foxy meets Bendy while cleaning the floor and starts calling him Boris until he loses his sanity, since then he has held a grudge against Bendy for calling him Boris.

In "Friday Night Funkin' vs. FNaF!" Foxy is challenged by Boyfriend and Girlfriend to a rap battle but ends up beating them in the end.

In the three Squid Game shorts, Foxy is one of the main characters along with Steve, Baldi, Funtime Freddy and Bon Bon, Bendy, a Crewmate and Boyfriend, but he always ends up dying at Bendy's hands, except in "SQUID GAME HIDE AND SEEK!" where he bests Bendy only he ends up losing due to his speaking out loud.

In "Foxy is a Girl!?" Foxy falls in love with Girl Foxy only to find out that she was a stingy pirate like him which led to a competition from smallest to largest, but in the end they are both eaten by a sea monster.

In "Poppy Playtime vs. FNaF!" Foxy is transported to the world of Poppy Playtime where he is pursued by Huggy Wuggy, but ends up suffering the same fate as Huggy.

In "Circus Baby Twin's Sister 2!" He was Circus Blueby's love interest but due to her stupidity and grotesque tricks, he freaked out on her leaving Bonnie to go out with her.

In "Bendy vs FNaF 2" Foxy is transported to Bendy's world where he meets Boris believing that he is his twin, due to his bad behavior they decide to take him to the ink machine to brainwash him and make him see reason, however his plan was foiled when TheMeatly came to restoring Foxy as he saw it as a bug in the game.

In "Circus Baby's Sleepover!" Foxy goes with Boyfriend to Circus Baby's house to check on her and her gang of girls but they find out that there was a massacre at the sleepover and they slam the door scared and complain that they have a great sleepover than them.

In "VANNY is in LOVE?" Foxy is tied up by Vanny along with Freddy, Bonnie and Chica in his room and listens as Vanny is obsessed with Five Nights at Freddy's.

In "Toy Chica is in Love!?" Foxy falls in love with Toy Chica but he does something impossible with whom he is going to stay with, in the end he ends up killing Toy Chica because it was no use.

In "Monika vs. FNaF 2!?" Foxy has a non-speaking role for the rest of the short.

In "Poppy Playtime vs. FNaF 2!?" Foxy and Huggy Wuggy escape from Kissy Missy but ends up in a nightmare until he sees Bonnie kissing his hook and furiously starts yelling at him for the incident.

In "Poppy Playtime vs Squid Game!?" Foxy acts as the posthumous protagonist as he died in the previous games along with the other players.

Relationships[]

Freddy Fazbear[]

He and Freddy are good friends, however he can get annoyed with him at times such as in the sponsor video where he gets upset that he gets a Bonnie shirt and Freddy gets a Freddy Shirt

Bonnie[]

Despite being friends, Foxy and Bonnie don't really get along well, as he gets a little annoyed at Bonnie's shenanigans such as having to use a plunger as a replacement hook and a rubber duck, and also ends up getting upset at him for using his hook as a hanger. Additionally, in the sponsor advertisement at the end of episode 3, he gets furious at Bonnie for giving Freddy some Faz-Coins to give Foxy a Bonnie shirt.

Chica[]

Foxy's girlfriend, in fact she convinced her to go to bed to recover in "Chica is Sick?!". Additionally, he & Chica swap bodies in Chica and Foxy SWAP BODIES?!. He seems to be in love with Chica.

Steve & Alex[]

He gets freaked out by them. He also gets angry when Alex throws an eye of ender at her.

Circus Baby[]

He and Circus Baby get along well, however he doesn't like that she forced him to wear a princess dress. Soon he forgave her for her selfish attitude.

Circus Blueby[]

The relationship between the two was not so good since when Circus Blueby began to show them her tricks violently, he fled from her because he did not want to be with a crazy girl with various deformities

Purple Guy[]

He is fearful of Purple Guy's sadistic cruelty. he didn't like that he gave he and he friends raisin cookies. Homever in his series The Foxy Song, he hates Afton for what he did to him, as he was possessed by a kid named Fritz.

Bendy[]

Foxy's arch-nemesis in F&F. He got mad at him when he mistook him for Boris but did not dare to kill him because he was innocent and mischievous, later he was terrified when Bendy was about to lead him to the studio in an ink portal. They later became rivals for a squid game competition. Since then he held a great grudge towards him for calling him Boris and he will never stop bothering.

Boris[]

Foxy gets annoyed over the fact that he and Boris are related.

Boyfriend and Girlfriend[]

Foxy was challenged by the two to a beatboxing battle, however in "Circus BABY SLEEPOVER!" they both chatted about how good the girls are having without realizing they are in a fight.

Girl Foxy[]

Foxy initially had a crush on her but when she called him out for being a slimey seadog, he ended up competing with her, the 2 only ending up getting eaten.

Huggy Wuggy[]

Much like Young-Hee, Foxy is very scared of Huggy due to being a monster, obviously.

Trivia[]

  • Foxy's VA, Robin Nelson, previously voiced the character in 5AM at Freddy's: The Prequel and The Sequel, albeit his withered and phantom form.
  • Foxy appears in almost every video game crossover short.
  • Foxy clames he holds the record for worlds fastest fox and pirate however the fastest pirate was Andrew Jackson.
    • Ironically, he's the only character to not have been in a crossover short with Undertale, DDLC, & Among Us.
  • Since the Spanish dub of Steve & Alex vs Fnaf his voice has changed.
    • This is because his voice in the current videos is much thicker than the original.
  • In the Spanish dub, J. Sebastian Valencia was the initial voice of Foxy who voiced the character up until Purple Guy Kills Golden Freddy, since now Carlos Berenguer is the official voice of Foxy from now on.
  • The only short in which Foxy acts even angrier is in Bendy vs FNaF due to Bendy telling him that it is Boris multiple times making him mad.
  • Foxy is the character that has more appearances in the shorts on the other hand, Freddy, Bonnie and Chica have fewer appearances in the shorts.
    • The most likely reason is because of his canon self's extreme popularity (& then becoming the game series' most popular character overall, beating Freddy) among fans. Many can get irritated because of this.
    • However, Huggy Wuggy is now appearing in more shorts then Foxy on the Zamination and EnchantedMob channel.
  • Foxy has competed in six minigames. He's technically won one
    • In Red Light, Green Light, he is killed thanks to Bendy's cheating. He places second
    • He also places second in The Glass Bridge, thanks to Bendy, once again messing with him
    • He places second a third time in Hide & Seek, where he is shot by Young-Hee, as he celebrates finally beating Bendy
    • Musical Memory is his worst performing game, placing dead last
    • He is the last to be taken by the Mini Huggies in Whack a Wuggy. Because of this, it could be assumed he won this minigame
    • Finally, in Statues, he crawls right in PJ's mouth, as he tries to use a map to cheat
