Episodes[]

Episode 1 - Where is Foxy's Hook?![]

Foxy has lost his hook! Since the gang can't find it. They try to improvise by creating a new hook for him. But who really has the hook?

Episode 2 - Chica is SICK!?[]

Chica is feeling a bit under the weather but still wants to work. Lets just hope she doesn't mess it up.

Episode 3 - Bonnie BROKE His Guitar!?[]

Bonnie broke his guitar! But Freddy is ready to help. By getting him a brand new electric guitar! But he can't do that without singing a song!

Episode 4 - Circus Baby VS. Freddy![]

Circus Baby comes to the pizzeria to make friends with Bonnie, Chica and Foxy, all except for Freddy who struggles to contain his jealousy. How will this story end?

Characters[]

In the series there are characters from the FNaF franchise that are present in the episodes and the shorts, these are some examples:

  • Freddy Fazbear: A smart and gentle bear, the leader of the gang
  • Bonnie the Bunny: A goofy rabbit, Freddy's guitarist and second-in-command.
  • Chica the Chicken: A cowardly chicken, the pizzeria cook
  • Foxy the Pirate: A grumpy fox, he from the toy stand and a fan of pirates.

Fazbear & Friends SHORTS[]

These shorts started coming to be a few days before "Bonnie BROKE His Guitar!?"premiered. Soon after the 4th short, the shorts are now uploaded as compilations. The most likely reason for their existence is for everyone's entertainment while new episodes are in production. However, from late August 2021 to early September, Fazbear and Friends shorts started having a Circus Baby takeover, instead focusing on Circus Baby instead of the main four animatronics like the previous shorts. They eventually went back to using the main four animatronics starting from Why is Circus Baby Changing!?. Starting from CIRCUS BABY TURNS REAL!?, the shorts stop using the " Fazbear and Friends SHORTS #1-(insert number here) Compilation" subtitle, this time just placing "Animation". They also start using the same short on ZAMination for EnchantedMOB instead of it's own different short.

Crossovers[]

These shorts star Foxy who must survive by various videogame characters who act as antagonists, apparently only Foxy should be in the videogame crossover shorts. Exceptions are "Monika vs FNAF!?", where Foxy is replaced by Freddy and "Among Us vs FNAF!?" where he is replaced by Funtime Freddy and Bon Bon. Starting from CIRCUS BABY TURNS REAL!?, the shorts stop using the " Fazbear and Friends SHORTS #1 - (insert number here) Compilation" subtitle, this time just placing "Animation".

Circus Baby's World[]

A spinoff series consisting of shorts that air on the EnchantedMob channel. These mostly focus on the Funtimes but some other shorts like Bendy vs. FNaF are revolving around Fazbear & Friends characters, leading to some people viewing these types of shorts as exaggerations and clickbait. After the cancellation in October, the spin-off series completely merged with the main series.

In other languages[]

Fazbear & Friends was an immediate success and ZAMination decided to open official YouTube channels to translate the episodes and shorts of the series into other languages. The channels in other languages are ZAM - ESP for the Spanish dubbing (in the channel ZAM 2 - ESP you can find the Argentino dubbing and the Castellano dubbing), ZAM - RU for Russian dubbing but it's been stopped for many months and we don't understand why, ZAM - DE for German dubbing and ZAM - BR for Brazilian Portuguese dubbing. In a Twitter post created by Joaquin Augusto, the arrival of the official French dubbing has been announced and six voice actors have already been chosen to lend their voices to Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy , Circus Baby and Purple Guy in the future. There is no official ZAM channel in Italy but you can find the Italian dubbing in the two YouTube channels of SuperGioMasteR and Dark Muff. As of April 2022, Fan Dub of Fazbear and Friends in Italian has been closed. An official version in the Italian language is planned in the future. This Fan Dub is very important because it is the only one that managed to last for a year and a half. The series is also dubbed in Hindi, no credits along with the official italian dub have been confirmed.

Reception[]

The show gained mostly positive reviews, scoring a 8.1/10 on IMDb. There were also negative reviews due to the shorts being repetitive and some having clickbait titles and thumbnails. It even goes too far with milking certain characters like Circus Baby, then Foxy the Pirate. Despite this, many fans still enjoy it, having some actual great jokes.

Criticism[]

The extreme character milking and abandoning past characters[]

Despite the positive reviews from fans, the fans generally started hating the show due to milking multiple characters. The main ones are Circus Baby due to taking over the channel and shorts for a month, and Foxy due to his canon self's extreme popularity among fans and appearing in almost every single short out of every character. As the Poppy Playtime characters debuted in the series, they began taking over, not only the shorts but the entire series as further explained on why EMOB changed his youtube profile and banner pictures only with a minecraft version of Huggy Wuggy seen.

However, the character who was able to take over the channel after Circus Baby and be more popular than Foxy was Huggy Wuggy who, thanks to his shorts starring him, took over the channel completely, which is why no other short would be uploaded by Fazbear and Friends.

Following Huggy Wuggy are the characters from FNaF Security Breach where they also took over the series leaving Huggy Wuggy and the other Fazbear and Friends characters behind.

Usage of fake characters and characters from other games[]

Despite usage of characters from actual FNAF games, fans hated the series due to using crossovers to debut characters that aren't related to FNAF and fake characters just for everyone's entertainment (i.e. Girl Foxy, Girl Bonnie and Circus Blueby)

Making the female characters sexy[]

Many female characters have been given sexualized features, such as breasts, flirtatious and narcissistic personalities, and having more appearances than the male characters.

Extreme making of shorts[]

Since July 2021, the show has been producing shorts, leading fans to start a mob (no pun intended on MOB) on new episodes to be made, specifically Episode 5. The reason why Episode 5 is taking incredibly long to be released is due to the production of Poppy Playtime, specifically the third chapter.

Violent and bloody scenes[]

Despite being a children's series, it has violent moments where several characters die repeatedly without staining a single drop of blood, for example Springtrap is an ugly and terrifying animatronic that only appeared in two shorts and since the new shorts never again he was heard from, and Squid Game, a Netflix series that summons Baldi, Bendy, Foxy, Boyfriend, a Crewmate, Steve and Funtime Freddy and Bon Bon to survive violent games to earn money.

Human traits and personalities to animatronics[]

Even though all the characters are robots, they actually give him human traits to rule out the robotic traits of any animatronic, such as scars, bruises, bumps, wounds and other human things by mixing them with those of animatronics. This was likely done to match the human-like traits of the Glamrock Animatronics in Five Nights at Freddy's Security Breach. But what distinguishes them are the following:

  • Freddy has a bump on his head on the first short.
  • Bonnie's face able to change due to aging in The Birth To Death of Bonnie.
  • Various characters showing human flesh when they die as seen in the wrong thumbnails of the shorts.
  • Foxy having a human body with bandages, hair and bruises as seen in Foxy is a GIRL?!
  • Circus Baby, after being bitten by Zombie Girl (Kathy-Chan) reveals to her that her body is humanoid in Zombie Girl bites Circus Baby.
  • The animatronics in female gender are shown with breasts, butts, flirtatious and mischievous personalities. However, this does not apply to Chica (though she brags to others she's the most hottest and sexiest girl of all which in reality, it wasn't) due to her being a normal animatronic.

However, not only they have those but they even do same actions as how actual humans. These are the following:

Sound effects[]

Some fans complain that some sound effects are a little off but what most disappoints some fans are the screams of the animatronics, since instead of screaming like their original counterparts, they just scream normally to have a humorous touch to the series.

Trivia[]

  • To be very honest, the developers decided to create a series of shorts while developing the fourth chapter.
  • Many fans believed that the series went from being a series to a section of animated shorts that have nothing to do with the canon of animation.
  • This introduces new Characters who aren’t present in FNaF:
    • Audrey - who is a Police Officer
    • Purple Girl - who is a rival to William
    • Circus Blueby- who is Circus Baby's twin sister
    • Red Monty - Monty's "twin brother".
  • The shorts are given as a complication and not just one.
  • Various characters from various FNaF games have appeared only in shorts that are surprisingly not part of canon.
  • The fourth episode has after the fact the animation Don’t Come Crying, since we can see a scene where Ballora, Funtime Freddy and Funtime Foxy are trapped in the same place where they were chasing the female nightguard.
  • In each episode there is an ending that only exists in any channel, the ending will be different whether it is the person who is watching the episode of the corresponding channel.
  • ZAMination Español released Circus Baby vs. Freddy as the first episode. This was later fixed when "Where Is Foxy's Hook?! "it premiered.
  • The shorts are based on the television series, Angry Birds Toons.
  • Some fans name the short section known as Fazbear and Friends Toons because of the shorts that go up every Saturday.
  • The toons could also refer to a toon series foreshadowing and teasing FNaF: Security Breach and is created by Steel Wool called Freddy & Friends: On Tour.
  • The series is presumably an intact counterpart of hotdiggedydemon's FNaF animation with the same title.
  • Episode 5 may not be coming up due to the following reasons:
  • The series was considered to be an only FNAF-related series. However, it was taken over by other non-FNAF characters, mainly, Huggy Wuggy, the main antagonist of the 1st chapter of Poppy Playtime.
  • The name of the series is based on an animated web video with the same name.
